Indonesian Ambassador to China and the Delegation Visited Kintor

In the afternoon of November 8, 2021, Indonesian Ambassador to China, H.E. Djauhari Oratmangun, Indonesian Consul General in Shanghai, Mr. Deny Wachyudi Kurnia, and the Chairman of the Indonesia Chamber of Commercein China, Mr. Liky Sutikno, visited Kintor Pharma for in-depth understanding of the company. The delegation met with founder, Chairman and CEO, Dr. Youzhi Tong and Kintor Pharma’s executives.

Ambassador Oratmangun made detailed inquiries about the mechanism of action, clinical data, global R&D and commercialization progress of proxalutamide for the treatment of COVID-19, and expressed his admiration of Kintor Pharma’s innovation ability and achievements. Ambassador Oratmangun introduced the cooperation between China and Indonesia on COVID-19 vaccines, and encouraged Kintor Pharma to accelerate its clinical development of proxalutamide for the treatment of COVID-19 in Indonesia, for which he would like to provide support, contributing to fight against COVID-19 under the cooperation of China and Indonesia.

Afterwards, Ambassador Oratmangun and the delegation visited Kintor Pharma’s R&D center and manufacturing facility to gain an in-depth understanding of the R&D and production process of proxalutamide.

Dr. Youzhi Tong commented that the company would make every effort to accelerate proxalutamide’s clinical progress for the treatment of COVID-19, and hoped that proxalutamide could benefit COVID-19 patients around the world including Indonesia as soon as possible.
